What are equensWorldline APIs?

Our APIs provide services to our partners that seek to add our capabilities into their own applications. We focus on delivering absolute value to our partners, supporting them to build applications that solve business problems and enhance their customer experiences.

Are these the only APIs equensWorldline will offer?

We work continuously on our API offerings. On every business line page we demonstrate you our future APIs, you can register on every future API page to receive updates on new offerings. Do you have a good idea for new APIs? Make a suggestion by filling out the suggestion form

How can I take the API into production?

Contact our API team and request for production access. You are then onboarded and all necessary contracts and agreements will be taken care of.

This section contains card processing APIs for Acquirers & third parties (PSPs and Merchants). Below is an overview of the Available and Future API services.

Retrieve and manage your own merchant contracts in the Worldline FS acquiring merchant contract database. Access is restricted to your acquirer and own merchant contract identifiers. For third party customer's (e.g. PSP, PayFac, Merchant) retrieval and limited updating is available in agreement with your acquirer.

Accept Transactions API (test)

Accept Card Not Present (CNP) and POS transactions for your Merchant customers.
Initial production release is planned for Q2 2023 to accept Card Not Present transactions.

Transactions

Provide detailed transaction data to your merchant customers. The API retrieves comprehensive transaction data that is based on merchant payment data, merchant contract identifiers and specific periods of time.

Provide specifications explaining the merchant payment to your merchant customers. Combined with the transactions API, all details can be provided to your merchant customer.

Make trends, revenue and transaction totals insightful for the merchant. Use this API to create charts and graphs, supply totals without having to retrieve all the transaction details.

How do I start testing with access certificates?

Please contact us if you are ready to start testing with our APIs. We will onboard you and provide you with the necessary certificates to start testing straight away.

Who can use the APIs?

For now, only customers of equensWorldline will be able to tap into our API services. Because the data sets provided via the (planned) APIs are related to transaction processing, currently these services are offered only to clients who have the related processing product contracted.
